Street Photography

My photography is rooted in observation, curiosity, and an ongoing interest in everyday life. I work across a range of subjects, but at the core of the work is an attentiveness to small moments, subtle details, and the way people and environments intersect. Whether photographing on the street or in more controlled settings, I’m drawn to images that feel natural, unforced, and quietly expressive.

In my street photography, I move between two approaches. Some images are made candidly, observing from a distance and responding instinctively to fleeting moments as they unfold. At other times, I engage directly with the people I photograph, allowing brief conversations or shared moments to shape the image. Both approaches inform the work equally, creating photographs that balance spontaneity with human connection.

Across all of my photography, I’m interested in how light, gesture, and composition can transform ordinary scenes into something more considered. I pay close attention to how subjects relate to their surroundings, often using public space as a backdrop for quiet narratives that might otherwise go unnoticed. Rather than aiming for spectacle, the work focuses on subtle shifts, visual tension, and moments of alignment.

The photographs are not intended as definitive statements, but as fragments — observations collected over time. They sit somewhere between documentary and personal interpretation, shaped by instinct and experience rather than rigid structure. Taken together, the work reflects an ongoing exploration of how photography can be used to slow things down, pay attention, and find meaning in the everyday.
